The ResultsThis year’s Bowling Masters Champion is 70-year-old Mr Muhammad bin Junit from Harry Elias Partnership — who beat a field of some 35 competitors (most of whom were half his age or less!) over a series of eight consecutive games. Mr Muhammad credits regular practice and persistence for his success. Having not performed very well in the past (he finished 11th and 15th in 2002 and 2003 respectively), Mr Muhammad started practising diligently every Saturday morning in order to improve his game. And improve he did — well done! Our Next Bowling EventFor those who feel that playing eight games in a row is a bit too much, our next bowling event may be more suitable for you — the ‘Piala Pala’ Nine Pin Tap Bowling Tournament (four games series) to be held in November this year. ‘Piala Pala’ is primarily a team event (although there are trophies awarded for individual achievements as well). Each firm may field a team (or teams) comprising five bowlers per team who will compete to become Team Champion and winner of the coveted ‘Piala Pala’ Challenge Trophy. Until then, let’s bowl!
