Thank You Dinner for Volunteers

A ‘Thank You Dinner’ was held on Friday, 5 January 2007, in honour of volunteer members who had generously given of their time and efforts to serve in the 29 standing and ad hoc committees of the Law Society in 2006. The dinner was held at the Fullerton Bacchus Boathouse and was attended by more than 70 volunteers. The ‘Thank You Dinner’ is an annual event to recognise the hard work and sacrifices of our many volunteer members.

At the dinner, members mingled, chatted and tucked into a delicious local buffet spread. The President of the Society, Mr Philip Jeyaretnam, SC, expressed the Society’s appreciation to the volunteers as well as to outgoing Council members, Mr Edmond Pereira, Mr George Tan, Mr Tan Siah Yong and Mr Leong Yung Chang.
