Appointment of Member of Council
Council noted that it was a project of the Society’s Project Work Plan 2007
for Council to organise tea sessions with members to promote camaraderie amongst
members.
Council appointed Ms Smitha Menon as member of Council to
fill the vacancy as a result of Mr Wong Tsung Wei’s departure
from Council. Mr Wong will be leaving Singapore for an
overseas posting.`
President gave a report of his attendance at the IBA Bar
Leaders Conference and Council Meeting held in May 2007
in Zagreb, Croatia.
Law Society Arbitration Scheme
Council noted and approved the form of the Certificate of
Appointment of Arbitrators to be issued under the Law Society
Arbitration Scheme.
