WELCOME BASH

This year, the Young Lawyers Committee (’YLC’) joined forces with the Social and Welfare Committee (’SWC’) to organise a welcome bash (traditionally organised by the YLC) for soon-to-be newly called advocates and solicitors. All lawyers, and not just the newly called, were invited to the celebration.

The celebration was held at FLO on Friday 25 May, the eve of the Mass Call. As a treat for all, tickets were priced very attractively at $15 which included three hours of free-flow beer, wine, house pours and an exquisite buffet. The highlight of the evening was a lucky draw where five lucky winners went home with $500 worth of Robinsons 
shopping vouchers.

Guests were impressed by the unique ambience of the venue, and the extensive mixes and sets ranging from contemporary pop to jazz funk played by FLO’s resident DJs, DJ Muddy and DJ Izam.

Ties were renewed and new friendships formed as guests interacted with one another over food and wine.

The YLC and SWC thank all who attended and supported the party.
