Improvement of Work Processes of Council

Recommendations on improvement of work processes of Council were made at the 2007 strategic work plan meeting. The recommendations were adopted by Council in 2007, following which three groups of Council members have been appointed to study, among other matters, ways to improve the Society's performance of its various roles. Council determined that the respective groups table their recommendations for discussion at the Council meeting in August 2008.

Mid Year Work Plan Status Reports of Standing Committees 2008

Council discussed and noted the progress and status of the respective work plans submitted by the standing committees.

Annual Dinner and Dance

Council agreed that this year's Dinner and Dance, to be held on 10 October 2008, would raise funds for the Bar Memorial Scholarship and that $25 from every ticket sold would be channelled towards the Bar Memorial Scholarship.
