Appointment of Law Society Nominees to the Senate of the Singapore Academy of Law
Council appointed Mr Wong Meng Meng, SC and Mr Leo Cheng Suan, Vice-Presidents of 2010 Council, as the Law Society’s nominees for the Chief Justice’s consideration for appointment to the Senate of the Singapore Academy of Law, pursuant to s 5(1)(h) Singapore Academy of Law Act.
Appointment of Pro Bono Learning and Support Services Management Committee
Council appointed the following persons as members of the Pro Bono Management Committee for the term commencing 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2012:
Mrs Arfat Selvam;
Mr George Lim, SC;
Mr N Sreenivasan;
Ms Malathi d/o Das;
Mr Christopher Koh; and
Mr Thio Shen Yi, SC.
